On October 18, 2024, America Place hosted its annual Business Park Appreciation Lunch. Guests were invited to stop by the office for lunch and games as a way for America Place to show appreciation for their continued years of business.

 The event was held at 266 America Place, in the parking lot adjacent to their downtown office. While the morning was cool and windy, the sun came out just in time for the event, making it a beautiful day. Lil Cheezers food truck catered the event, offering guests several gourmet grilled cheese options. Meals included a sandwich, pickle, chips, and a drink. America Place also provided a variety of cookies. While guests waited for their grilled cheese, they had the option to participate in a door prize raffle and a cornhole contest. The contest involved throwing eight cornhole bags toward the opposite board to see how high of a score they could achieve. The top six contestants of the day won prizes, and America Place also offered door prizes to five attendees—a free one-night stay at the new StayAPT Suites in Clarksville.

 America Place also invited Southern Indiana Works to join the event. Southern Indiana Works is a non-profit community-based organization that serves as the Local Workforce Development Board. During the event, they shared information with employees and tenants about programs including workforce training, recruitment, and employee career services.

 Over the years, this event has become a tenant favorite and has grown tremendously. This year, attendance reached an all-time high with over 110 guests. The Business Park is currently home to 40 tenants, employing almost 500 people. These tenants represent businesses ranging from woodworking to window dressing, as well as design to distribution. Several of the Business Park units are leased to tenants who have been with America Place from the very beginning—more than 35 years! All of these businesses and their employees were invited to attend the afternoon event to thank them for their years of support and success.
